Family Support - Group Helper (Supporting 0-11 year olds and their families, Waverley, Surrey)

Barnardo’s is committed to providing ‘Better Outcomes for More Children’. Our children’s services volunteers help the charity to deliver essential services in local communities, providing support to over 300,000 children, young people and their families. This role provides a great opportunity to join our fantastic children’s services and help make a real difference.

Family Support volunteers work across a range of groups, from Parenting Groups, the Freedom Programme and Mental Health Support Groups to Family and Learning and Adult Education courses.

We are looking for enthusiastic helpers to support parents and their children in Waverley, at a variety of family events across the borough. This may include stay and play groups, holiday sessions, after school sessions, or community events and support groups in the evenings or at weekends. Our timetable of events is varied and there will be many diverse opportunities to help and support in a way that suits you.
