Children's Activity Support - Group Helper (Supporting Youth groups at The Rees Centre and The Barn, Plymouth)

Barnardo’s is committed to providing ‘Better Outcomes for More Children’. Our children’s services volunteers help the charity to deliver essential services in local communities, providing support to over 300,000 children, young people and their families. This role provides a great opportunity to join our fantastic children’s services and help make a real difference.

Children’s Activity Support volunteers work across a range of groups, from Children’s Centre’s with pre-school children and Short Breaks services for children with disabilities, to Mental Health Support Groups and Young Carers Groups.

We are looking for volunteers to support our youth groups in Plymouth. The groups take place on the following; Wednesdays 5pm-6.30pm at The Rees Centre, Plympton for ages 11-14 Fridays 3.30pm-5pm at The Barn, Barn Barton for ages 7-10

Where possible we are looking for a minimum of a 6 month commitment to this role for continuity for the children and young people attending. If you would like any further information, please contact Kathryn.Hussey@Barnardos.org.uk
