General Maintenance (Ad hoc support for Loseley and Hale Family Centres)

Barnardo’s is committed to providing ‘Better Outcomes for More Children’. Our children’s services volunteers help the charity to deliver essential services in local communities, providing support to over 300,000 children, young people and their families. This role provides a great opportunity to join our fantastic children’s services and help make a real difference.

Our General Maintenance Volunteers support us to carry out general gardening duties and tidying of the services sites. The role could include, gardening, painting and decorating, general tidying up or indoor and outdoor areas and fixing broken equipment.

We are looking for enthusiastic people to join our team, who are able to complete basic DIY activities and are keen to support the provision of our services in welcoming and attractive service sites.

We are looking for someone who will be happy to provide general maintenance support, as and when it is needed, at our centres in Hale (Farnham) and Loseley (near Godalming). This will help us to ensure we always provide the best service to our families.
