Barnardo’s is committed to providing ‘Better Outcomes for More Children’. Our children’s services volunteers help the charity to deliver essential services in local communities, providing support to over 300,000 children, young people and their families. This role provides a great opportunity to join our fantastic children’s services and help make a real difference.

Nightstop is a service providing free, safe, secure emergency temporary accommodation for homeless young people (16-21 year olds) in Leeds.

We are looking for people with a spare room in their home and who are passionate about supporting young people.

As a volunteer host you would provide a young person with a room of their own that can be used for usually between one to three nights. In addition to providing a safe environment, hosts will offer an evening meal, washing facilities, breakfast and a chance for a young person to have time to find other accommodation or return home.
