Children's Services Office Support/Receptionist (Nuneaton Children and Family Centres)

Barnardo’s is committed to providing ‘Better Outcomes for More Children’. Our children’s services volunteers help the charity to deliver essential services in local communities, providing support to over 300,000 children, young people and their families. This role provides a great opportunity to join our fantastic children’s services and help make a real difference.

Nuneaton Children and Family Centres and outreach venues provide activities for under 5's and support for families from pre-birth or with children or young people aged 0-19 (or 25 for young people with additional needs). Our vision is that every family is supported to achieve their aspirations for themselves, their children and the wider community.

As a Barnardo’s Office Support Volunteer you will be supporting the admin team within one of the centres in Nuneaton, this could be to meet and greet families as they arrive at reception, support staff in creating posters/flyers, answer telephone calls, inputting data, update notice boards and help out with general enquiries. Our Office Support Volunteers keep our services running efficiently.

Our centres are: Riversley Park Children and Family Centre, Clinic Drive, Nuneaton, CV11 5TY; Camp Hill Children and Family Centre, Holly Stitches Road, Nuneaton, CV10 9QA, and Stockingford Children and Family Centre, St Paul’s Road, Nuneaton, CV10 8HW.

We are looking for organised people, with basic admin skills. As a good communicator, you will be friendly and approachable and able to communicate with professionals from a range of backgrounds.
