Retail Volunteer (Gifts in Kind) (Rugby)

One of the ways in which Barnardo's receive donations is by the support of the Gifts in Kind (GIK) team. They partner with a number of companies and brands that donate their end of line, out of season, damaged (but usable), returned or sample stock to Barnardo’s, which we then sell in our 700+ stores across the UK. Our stores sell lots of great donated & new goods to help raise vital funds to make a real difference to disadvantaged children, young people and families across the UK.

Our Gifts in Kind team are increasing the amount of gifts being donated to us from other businesses. You will be a key part of this dynamic and fast-paced team who ensure that GIK stock is sorted and organised efficiently to be delivered throughout the UK stores

We are in need of volunteers who can help us sort and remove tags from new branded goods, scan books, CDs/DVDs and prepare goods ready to be sold in our stores, helping us to raise money for Barnardo's

It would be great if you could volunteer one shift a week (or even more if you want) but we’re always happy to be flexible to work around your availability. The Gifts in Kind Warehouse is open Monday to Friday, 9-5pm.
