General Maintenance (Allotment volunteer, Fox Hollies Birmingham)

Barnardo’s is committed to providing ‘Better Outcomes for More Children’. Our children’s services volunteers help the charity to deliver essential services in local communities, providing support to over 300,000 children, young people and their families. This role provides a great opportunity to join our fantastic children’s services and help make a real difference.

Our General Maintenance Volunteers support us by carrying out general gardening duties at our Fox Hollies allotment. The role could involves: maintaining the allotment with an emphasis on safety for children and families and, maintaining any flower beds, planters, shrubs and vegetable patches. Children and families will not be on site at the same time as volunteers.

We are looking for enthusiastic people with a keen interest in gardening to join our team.
